The four-door sedan will compete against other sedans that have survived the SUV onslaught, like the Hyundai Elantra, Honda Civic, and Toyota Corolla. Contrast stitching and a flat-bottomed steering wheel are also on the GT Line and GT Forte sedans.

Interior
The 2024 Kia Forte seats four or five passengers, although its trunk measures 15.3 cubic feet. It’s a 6, with one additional point for the trunk. The seats on the Forte do not score bonus points, despite the fact that they give adequate support and room for two tall passengers up front. The Forte’s six-way manual front seats are standard in fabric, but may be upgraded to synthetic leather at higher specification levels. Additionally, they feature driver power adjustment and front heating and cooling. As standard, the GT features side-hugging sport seats with powerful bolsters and increased support.

We haven’t driven it with the manual transmission, but it’s had to be better than Kia’s yo-yo changing dual-clutch transmission. When the Sport driving mode is chosen and the accelerator is mashed constantly, the dual-clutch responds consistently to gearchange demands; otherwise, it searches for the right cog, which becomes a nuisance at city speeds. Furthermore, the Forte’s handling is lacking. This kind of rear suspension is found on most basic cars. It helps to dampen the effects of bumpy roads. The GT’s independent rear suspension is incapable of compensating for the vehicle’s significant lean in bends or during quick lane changes. A genuinely sporty Forte would be great. Alternately, for more exhilarating driving, consider the Civic Si or the Hyundai Elantra N Line.
