2024 Kia Forte GT Redesign Colors, Interior, Model – Despite its vast cargo capacity and seating for five, the Forte is not a crossover vehicle. The Hyundai Elantra, Honda Civic, and Toyota Corolla cars have weathered the SUV onslaught. Due to its sloped windshield and longer wheelbase, the 2024 Ki Forte looks to be the larger vehicle.
Reworked bumpers and shorter headlamps give the new nose a more refined look, but it doesn’t appear cluttered or showy. A minor spoiler and more appealing taillights disguise Forte’s economy-car design on the flanks and decklid. The GT model gets bigger wheels and black accents.

2024 Ki Forte Redesign
The 2024 Ki Forte interior boasts an 8.0-inch touchscreen, a minimalist design, simple climate controls, and eye-catching circular vents. The FE models have more plastic and fabric upholstery, while the others have a softer feel with matte metallic accents. The GT-Line and GT Forte sedans are contrast stitching, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, and perforated synthetic leather upholstery on the interior.

Interior
But its 15.3-cubic-foot trunk dwarfs the Forte in terms of volume. An extra point is awarded for the box, making the final score 6. The seats in the Forte aren’t impressive, although they can accommodate two people who are pretty tall up front. Fabric is standard in the Forte, but synthetic leather can be added to the seats on higher specification levels. In addition, the driver’s power may be adjusted, and the front can be heated and cooled. On the GT version, the sport seats have strong bolsters and more support.
For a 6-footer, the Forte’s rear bench seat provides 35.7 inches of legroom, which is more than enough room for a 6-footer to travel behind another 6-footer. In contrast to the Forte FE, other trim levels include a fold-down rear seatback. The interiors of the Forte LXS, GT-Line, and GT are all excellent. A leather-wrapped steering wheel and extra metallic trim are among the vehicle’s features, as is red stitching. The metallic trim on the GT-Line and GT versions is more prominent.
Engine
The FE and GT-Line trims of the 2024 Forte come equipped with a 2.0-liter inline-4 engine that makes 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque. The car’s strength is in its fuel economy, not its acceleration, which weighs between 2,769 and 3,079 pounds. It moves slowly and makes a lot of noise when it’s connected to a CVT that sloshes between speeds to maintain the engine running close to its maximum power output.
It has a mild response when driven slowly. It’s also possible to get a 6-speed manual transmission for the 201-horsepower 1.6-liter turbo-4 in the Forte GT rather than the 7-speed dual clutch transmission. It can reach 60 mph in 6.7 seconds thanks to 195 lb-ft of torque on demand. There is no manual transmission for this car yet, but it must be better than Kia’s dual-clutch gearbox, which shifts like a yo-yo.
Unless the sports driving mode is chosen and the accelerator is continuously mashed, the dual-clutch will search for the correct cog, which can be a nuisance at city speeds, instead of responding consistently to gearchange demands. Its handling is also a problem. For the most part, the rear suspension on these automobiles is a conventional torsion-beam design that does a good job of dampening road imperfections.
Because the GT’s rear suspension is independent, the car’s significant lean into curves or rapid lane changes is not dampened. The Forte is a great option for anyone looking for a more sporty car, but the Civic Si or Hyundai Elantra N Line are also excellent choices.
