New Kia Forte 2024 Interior, Colors, Models – The Forte is not a crossover vehicle, despite its vast cargo capacity and seating for five. The 2024 Kia Forte cockpit is a joy to see with an 8.0-inch touchscreen, intuitive temperature controls, and sleek circular vents! When it comes to materials, the FE models include more harsh plastic and fabric upholstery, while the other models have a softer feel with matte metallic accents. The GT-Line and GT Forte sedans are contrast stitching, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and perforated synthetic leather upholstery on the inside.

Interior
The 2024 Kia Forte 15.3-cubic-foot trunk dwarfs the vehicle compared to its size. It’s a six plus an extra point for the box. The seats in the Forte aren’t impressive, even though they can accommodate two people who are pretty tall upfront. The basic fabric 6-way manual front seats may be swapped out for synthetic leather ones at a higher trim level in the Forte. In addition, the driver’s power may be adjusted, and the front can be heated and cooled. With the GT variant, you’ll get supportive sports seats that hug you from the side.
For a 6-footer, the Forte’s rear bench seat provides 35.7 inches of legroom, which is more than enough room for a 6-footer to ride behind another 6-footer. Other Forte trim levels include a fold-down rear seatback, but not the FE model. For the Forte LXS, GT-Line, and GT models, interior materials are top-notch. A leather-wrapped steering wheel and extra metallic accents are included in the package. The metallic trim on the GT-Line and GT versions is more prominent.
Engine
The FE and GT-Line trims of the 2024 Forte are powered by a 2.0-liter inline-4 engine that produces 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque. The car’s strength is in its fuel efficiency, not its acceleration, which weighs between 2,769 and 3,079 pounds. It travels slowly and makes a lot of noise when it’s connected to a CVT that sloshes between speeds to maintain the engine running at or near its maximum power output. Driving cautiously, it responds with a light touch. Instead of the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, the Forte GT’s 201-horsepower 1.6-liter turbo-4 is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission for a 6. 195 lb-ft of torque helps it reach 60 mph in 6.7 seconds.
Manually shifting this automobile hasn’t been attempted yet, but it must be better than Kia’s jerky dual-clutch gearbox. At highway speeds, the dual-clutch will hunt for the correct cog, but if you put it in sport mode and keep depressing the throttle, it will shift gears regularly. The Forte also has poor handling. The torsion-beam rear suspension of the basic automobile is excellent at absorbing road imperfections. Due to its independent rear suspension, the GT exhibits significant lean into curves and fast lane changes. For sportier driving, the Forte would be suitable; for more exhilarating driving, choose the Civic Si or the Hyundai Elantra N line.

You can have a more luxurious cabin and split-folding back seats if you upgrade to the LXS, or you can get the GT-Line with an even bigger display for $22,885.
