Kia Forte 2024 Exterior, Models, Changes – Despite its oversized cargo area and enough seating for five passengers, the Ford Forte is not a crossover vehicle in the conventional sense. The Toyota Corolla, Hyundai Elantra, and Honda Civic are among the sedans that have fought back against the SUV invasion. Due to its sloped windshield and longer wheelbase, the Forte looks to be the bigger car.
Reworked bumpers and shorter headlights give the new nose a more refined look, but it doesn’t appear cluttered or showy. A minor spoiler and more appealing taillights disguise 2024 Kia Forte economy-car design on the flanks and decklid. The larger wheels and black accents are seen on the GT model distinguish it from the rest of the lineup.

2024 Kia Forte Redesign
The 2024 Kia Forte cockpit is a joy to see with an 8.0-inch touchscreen, intuitive temperature controls, and sleek circular vents! When it comes to materials, the FE models include more harsh plastic and fabric upholstery, while the other models have a softer feel and use matte metallic accents. The GT-Line and GT Forte sedans are:Contrast stitching.A flat-bottom steering wheel. Perforated synthetic leather upholstery on the inside.
Even though the new nose has more lines than the previous one, it doesn’t look cluttered or tacky, thanks to the lower headlights and revamped bumpers. A minor spoiler and more appealing taillights disguise the Forte’s economy-car design on the flanks and decklid. The GT model gets bigger wheels and black accents.
Interior
In comparison to its size, the Forte’s 15.3-cubic-foot trunk dwarfs its capacity. It’s a 6 plus an extra point for the box. Despite the fact that the front seats of the Forte can accommodate two people who are rather tall, they do not receive any bonus points. In the Forte, the basic fabric 6-way manual front seats may be swapped out for synthetic leather ones at a higher trim level. Additionally, the front seats are heated and cooled. With the GT variant, you’ll get supportive sports seats that hug you from the side.
For a 6-footer, the Forte’s rear bench seat provides 35.7 inches of legroom, which is more than enough room for a 6-footer to ride behind another 6-footer. The rear seatback does not fold in the Forte FE, although it does in higher trim levels. Interior materials are also superior in the Forte LXS, GT-Line, and GT. A leather-wrapped steering wheel, crimson stitching, and extra metallic trim are included. The metallic trim on the GT-Line and GT versions is more prominent.

Engine
The FE and GT-Line trims of the 2024 Forte are powered by a 2.0-liter inline-4 engine that produces 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque. The car’s main selling point is its fuel efficiency, not its speed. Its curb weight ranges between 2,769 and 3,079 pounds. A CVT must be used to maintain the engine’s maximum power output, and this results in a vehicle that is both sluggish and loud. It has a mild response when driven slowly. Instead of the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, the Forte GT’s 201-horsepower 1.6-liter turbo-4 is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission for a 6. With 195 lb-ft of torque, it can reach 60 mph in 6.7 seconds.
At highway speeds, the dual-clutch will hunt for the correct cog, but if you put it in sport mode and keep depressing the throttle, it will shift gears regularly. Its handling is also a problem. The torsion-beam rear suspension of the basic automobile is excellent at absorbing road imperfections. Due to its independent suspension, the GT can lean into corners and make quick lane changes without being dampened by the car’s significant lean. The Forte is a good choice for sporty driving, but the Civic Si or Hyundai Elantra N Line are better options for more exhilarating driving.
